Boudoir in Bend, Oregon: An interview with "N"

I’m so excited to start a new series of blog posts that features women who have been photographed by me. The purpose is shed some light on common fears surrounding boudoir. I also think it’s important to hear from women who have actually gone through a shoot rather than just hearing me drone on about how important boudoir is. 🤣😂 Here we go!

What were your fears coming into the session? Did they come true?

    • I am not a person who enjoys being photographed. I never know how to prop my leg the right way in photos. I don’t know what my good side is. I have constant RBF. I was worried that there was going to be a lot of awkwardness and not glamorous shots. For all of these reasons and more, I love to stay behind the camera, so the idea of me being in front and modeling/posing scared the crap out of me.

What was your favorite part of the experience?

    • I HAD SO MUCH FUN. I let my guard down and started having fun. Bri immediately made me feel at home and like a goddess, and made me laugh nonstop for the entire session. By the time we were close to wrapping up, I truly didn’t want it to end.

How did you feel during your session?

    • LIKE A GD QUEEN. It took me a little while to warm up and to get comfortable, but with Bri giving me suggestions and really giving me positive feedback that what I was doing was working and was looking great, I felt amazing.

How did you feel seeing your images for the first time?

    • LIKE A GD QUEEN. AGAIN. But really. I was stoked to see these and they came out incredible. I showed everyone. Like, probably people who thought it was weird. But, I didn’t care. I looked and felt like a model and I wanted to shout it from the rooftops.

What would you say to someone on the fence about booking a boudoir session?

    • I haven’t done any other boudoir shoots, but I can tell you that after doing this session with Bri, not all boudoir shoots are created equal. Taking these photos at Babe City studio with Bri’s guidance was the best atmosphere, location, and coach a girl could ask for. She is an absolute rockstar and has created something really special. This is an experience every woman needs to have.

There you have it, folks! If you have ideas for other questions you’d like answered by clients, feel free to message me and send ‘em over.

Ready to book your own shoot? Get it, guuuuuuuurl.
